A remarkable document of its time. An official US film, representing the 'Russian' (though not the 'Soviet') people" as friends and allies.  An abundance of historic symbolism, using images of the Orthodox church (at the time barely alive in the Soviet Union) with quotes like : "...  give us faith in the inevitable powers of light over darkness, of the Cross of Christ over the Swastika, so be it... Amen!"
